This was the hardest NaNoWriMo I have ever done in my entire life. I seriously thought I would never finish. Up until today, I was behind by, like, a bazillion words. But I ended up writing 5000 words on Wednesday, 2000 on Thanksgiving (sorry to my family), 2000 yesterday, and 8000 words today. That's the most I've ever written in four days, I think.

So, I crossed the finish line today at 50,231. Now I'm stopping and taking a long break (a.k.a. sleeping), and then picking up where I left off tomorrow. I'm nowhere near done with my novel, so, expect to hear continuous updates about it for the remainder of the year. And probably the beginning of next year.

I also discovered the theme song for my novel: "You Found Me" by The Fray. It totally fits my novel. Except... it's kind of backwards. If a girl was singing the song, it'd be absolutely perfect! But it's basically perfect anyway.

Oh, no, even better! With the same title! "You Found Me" by Kelly Clarkson. WAY BETTER! Well, for the end of the novel. The Fray can be the middle.

For those of you still writing, keep going! I'm cheering you on! I never thought I'd finish this month, but I did, and you can, too! Just keep on going, and you'll be just fine!
